How does one advance in rank in BJJ?: BJJ is a sophisticated martial art that is always advancing. We do not have a set schedule or count hours per-say in regards to training, we assess each student from Day 1 on and monitor their progression, we do have a base curriculum for white belts as well. As students progress they advance in rank by getting stripes to colored belts.

4 stripes per belt and the belt ranks are

White, Blue, Purple, Brown, Black
